Process used for setting out an arch. The line of the intrados is marked on the face templet which is then stepped round a full size drawing of the arch, positioned by two traversing rules, to ensure an accurate fit over the total face. When the traverse has been completed the wedge shaped templet is adjusted to set the required joint thickness.
