A party of 27 Tylers and Bricklayers made their way to The Clink at HMP Brixton to support and enjoy the work of The Clink Charity, the Company’s Charity of the Year.

The Clink Restaurant has recently been rated by Trip Advisor as London’s third best restaurant out of 18,161 beating three star Michelin restaurants such as Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.  This is a remarkable achievement, given that the restaurant is staffed by prisoners both in the kitchen and front of house.

In what is probably a first for the Ts & Bs the delicious three course lunch was served with no alcohol.  This did not deter the Tylers and Bricklayers who are known to be one of the City’s friendliest livery companies.

After lunch Chef/Restaurant Manager Trainer Simon McKinnon-Bahams gave a short presentation on the work of the Clink Charity.

The Tylers and Bricklayers wished the trainees every success in the future and thanked them for their service during the lunch.
