Triennial Awards and Luncheon

Following the disappointing cancellation of the Triennial Awards in 2020 and again earlier this year, the Master, Dr Michel Saminaden, has chosen to present these awards and hold a Livery luncheon as his last event as Master. The Company’s Triennial Awards will be presented at Apothecaries’ Hall, Black Friars Lane, London, EC4V 6EJ on Thursday 2 September. Numbers to the awards presentation are limited due to space confines. Tickets to the presentation ceremony will be allocated to: winners and their guests; members of the Craft Committee; members of the Court; other members of the Livery on a first come, first served basis until the tickets are fully distributed. There is plenty of space for luncheon and the Master is pleased to invite all Liverymen and Freemen of the Company with their guests to celebrate with the winners at a reception and luncheon immediately following the awards. The awards will be presented by Sheriff Christopher Hayward. They are the culmination of much hard work on the part of the Craft Committee. This promises to be an excellent occasion with awards being presented in all three categories of Wall and Floor Tiling, Roof Slating and Tiling and Bricklaying. The Presentation Ceremony will commence at 11.00 am with refreshments available from 10.30 am. The Champagne Reception for all attending the luncheon will follow the Presentation Ceremony at 12.15pm. Luncheon will be served at 1.00 pm. We hope very much that life will have returned to “normal” by 2September. However, we and our hosts at Apothecaries’ Hall will continue to follow Government regulations and guidelines as required to ensure a safe event. This luncheon is priced at £98 per person. Partners and guests are most welcome. You and your guests’ places will be secured only by full payment with your application by 12 August. If a change in Government guidelines requires cancellation, full refunds will be given. Otherwise, refunds will be available only up to 20 August, if cancellation is due to personal reasons. There will be no tour available at this event. The dress code is Lounge Suit & Tie. Livery badges should be worn. Carriages 3pm
